Proxy Checker
See which addresses in your list are known to a proxy and VPN database: type, country and elite status. Paste a list or upload a file.
File Format for Upload
The proxy checker looks up every IP from your list in an external IP reputation database, similar to the ones anti-fraud systems use. It does not connect to the proxy or measure its speed: to make sure a proxy works, open the IP check with the proxy on.
How the checker works
We read the list
One line, one address in any common format: IP:PORT, ip:port:user:pass, user:pass@ip:port, with a protocol and others, the same the format converter reads. The login, password and protocol are stripped in your browser; only the IP is checked.
We look the IP up in a proxy and VPN database
Our server queries an external IP reputation database. It holds addresses seen as proxies or VPNs, with their type and country.
We show what websites know about it
Anti-fraud and bot protection systems use similar databases. If an address is listed, a site with such protection is more likely to show a captcha or deny access.
How to read the result
Listed as proxy
The database knows the address as a proxy or VPN. The Protocols column shows the type from the database; ELITE means the database considers the proxy elite, i.e. not revealing your IP.
Not listed
The database does not know the address as a proxy. It does not mean the proxy is down: the address may be new or clean, and websites block such addresses less often.
No answer
The database did not answer or the line could not be checked. Try again later.
Response time
How long the database lookup took. The checker does not measure the speed or availability of the proxy itself: it never connects to it.
